Meynell Langley Hall is a Regency country mansion house with extensive lawns surrounded by beautiful woodland and rural Derbyshire parkland. It was built in 1805 and continues to be a family home.

country weddingMeynell Langley is set on a rise in the land to the east of Kirk Langley, between Ashbourne and Derby. Guests arriving at Meynell Langley are greeted by open views over country parkland, and lawns bordered by woodland. The pillared front door leads into a galleried Hall with wood panelling, portraits on the walls and a log burning stove. Adjoining the Hall are two distinctive rooms, the light, finely furnished Drawing Room, and the old family library, both licensed for marriage ceremonies.

Sunlight pours in through the south facing windows on fine days, while open fires and lamplight create a welcoming atmosphere if you are thinking of a late afternoon or an autumn ceremony. The house and grounds provide a perfect backdrop for photographs in each season of the year with many classically beautiful settings both outside and indoors. The West Lawn, adjacent to the house, offers a uniquely scenic site for a marquee reception.
